Creating Our Production Logo

We decided to create a logo that represents me and Tatiana. Our logo is in black with a red outline and a shadow of a soft red with a italic font. The red represents our strong, feminine,independant side along with the italic font.The black shows our rebellious, urban side which is softened down with a light red shadow. Tatiana and I agreed on this logo together and used photoshop to create it. We had some problems downloading the font from www.dafont.com, a site which provides free fonts. Alternatevely we wrote the text (t.h.t productionz) into the site and the site generated it into the font we chose. We chose this logo design because it represents our urban personalities with a feminine,sophisticated edge. Our logo design had two sides to it, just like our personalities and film productions too.

Production Day 1:

We went out to the locations that we are going to use for our montage, which we are going to use as our establishing shot.
We filmed this using a mini DV camera, as the Cannon XM2 DV were unavailable. We also used a Tripod to take steady shots and a brand new tape to avoid any problems or confusions. We also made sure that the camera was charged so that the battery did not run out when we were filming.
We had a fun experience and enjoyed working together. However, we found taking panning shots a bit difficult.
